Nintendo's attitude towards anybody who wants to mod or preserve games or anything else has permanently turned me off of Nintendo. I sold my Wii a couple years ago and I will never purchase another item from them as long as I live. I also make sure that everybody I know, knows just how horrible they are.
The Nintendo DS flash cart is my all-time favorite — still very useful today on my hacked 3DS, so all the internal memory can be dedicated to 3DS games and the flash cart handles hundreds of GBs of DS games like a champ..
I'm somewhat tempted to get the Mig cart for Switch, but I'll probably just continue emulating most games in Ryujinx and just hack the old Switch when 2 comes out.

You're incorrect about Wii games looking better than on Wii U. You can put USB Loader GX on the VWii inside of the Wii U and use the same options.

my personal rule for emulation is just dont emulate anything i can buy directly from the company that made it. remakes dont count. if i can only get it used, then there is no point for me- ill let a collector snag the used one. my other rule is if i bought it- i can play it on whatever console i want.
