  1. It mostly depends on where you buy it. I've seen some good reproduction cartridges on etsy that are really good

  2. Try a FAKE DS game!! Back in 2014 I was given Pokémon Platinum but it wasn’t until last year (2023) that I found out it was a fake!! Yet it worked absolutely fine and I even transferred the Pokémon from that game to a REAL Pokémon Soul Silver!!

  3. Oh, I have the fake emerald, and I think they had the dsi in mind when making it because I was able to save perfectly fine.

  4. They’re good until you really want to speed run and wanna play the same game for about six hours straight

  5. Its funny bc i rememeber when i asked for gameboy games for a birthday present
My mom got me all 3 versions of gen 3.
She had told me she got them for a cheap price which at the time i didnt understand
But soon figured out that Ruby never saved, Sapphire saved but didnt actually save and emerald seemed fine
Till one day i was fighting a kid ninja
And i think from my knowledge that some move was cauaing the game to conpeltely freese and crash
And when i of course checked the internet to find out that they were all fake and my mom basically paid 10 dollars for scam games

  6. wait If it doesnt save means its fake then that means I actually played a real pokemon game because it saved? But it got corrupted the 5th day BUT i got it back so Idk if its fake or not

  7. It really depends on the type of fake you have. If it’s a 1:1 you should be able to save no problem. The issue with them is when transferring Pokémon you might run into issues. It wouldent be that hard they went through the steps to make a fake game as genuine as they could, the saving portion should not be an issue. If roms can do it on a pc they should be able to do it in a cartridge

  8. For all your information he didn't exactly give true info. Whether the fake game saves or has good quality depends on the quality of the chip used. I actually have a friend who made me a fake emerald with a good quality chip which saves and hasn't corrupted to this day.

  9. Bro, I was looking away from the screen, and I thought you said my name when u said "nintondo"

  10. Can you like not gaslight people into believing that pirated games can't play?

We all know how an individual can grab a "backed up" game file, put it into a cartridge and run it just fine. This "fake" cartridge is no different, saving problem is due to battery not due to it "being fake".

I strongly recommend every single person here to totally not pirate old games nintendo refuses to rerelease. The back market has them marked up at a crazy high price and nintendo stopped officially supporting that title. So i only think its fair if we totally dont get the games they arent even making money on.

  11. I had gotten a fake copy of Mario 64, I was so confused why it didn't save. I took it to a retro game place and they said it was fake and couldn't save. That would explain it😅

  12. That's incredibly weird, pretty much all other consoles allow piracy to make sure even people in third world countries can enjoy it.

  13. I had fake ds games i had like heart gold and soul silver, black and white 1 and 2 and they worked perfectly also with saving

  14. Bro, I like how When he’s about to put the fake cartridge there are just some Pokémon just jiggling around the background
