  2. just finished the show! it's so hard to watch, i need to try like 4 times to finally get past the first episode. i stopped for a breather here and there but then managed to finish. it's sooo painful like running a marathon.

  3. I don't even know how to say this online but I've got a stalker and he has climbed my second story roof several times and you just kind of end of leaning in the them and trying to keep the peace because it's less terrifying than angering them and you have a life and a job to carry on with so you just think 'I'll deal with this tomorrow' and they don't abide by the police restraining orders. It drives you insane. And the government doesn't have enough money to actually make sure stalkers and psychos are treated and kept away from their prey.

  4. I was so surprised to learn that this was based on actual events that happened to him. While he isn't hideous looking, he's not exactly Ryan Reynolds either. However, they really delve into the humiliation of being sexually assaulted and stalked. How all Donny wants is for his life to go back to what it was before he met Martha, the guilt he felt for unknowingly putting Teri in danger. It helped me realize how little I understand the fear that women have to live with everyday.

  5. I watched the whole season in one sitting
The story is so relevant at least to me (trying to please people and ending up paying for that, being misunderstood, having big dreams and hopes then being slapped by the brutal reality)
The scenes in which he was desperate to make people laugh literally broke my heart!!! So painful! Since it was a true story, I would've laughed even if the joke isn't funny, would've applauded and encouraged him. Please do that to people around you who need your encouragement! It doesn't cost you anything but it could sometimes be a life or death for them!
Also the actress my God she deserves an Oscar! One time I'd see the sweetest cutest lady, and a moment later she scares me then she irritates me then I feel so sorry for her! Wow!

  6. INHO this series is a metaphore for specifically porn addiction, but perhaps any addiction.

  7. I need to vent. Possible spoilers ahead (depends on your definition of what they are). Baby Reindeer might be a true story, but one moment in it felt like a ripoff of a scene from a thriller movie from 37 years ago. Might be coincidence.

When our protagonist Donny comes home early one evening and gets to meet the cooking club, and their newest member is introduced, I blurted out "Wow, straight out of Fatal Attraction … a Best Picture nominee from 1987!" That scenario felt so much like when the spurned and mentally dangerous Alex Forrest (a chilling Glenn Close) unexpectedly shows up at her prey's home, chatting casually with Dan's wife while pretending to be interested in buying their apartment.

  8. The fact of the matter is, she was abused too which turned her into a stalker. Abuse of any kind messes you up big time, whether it be sexual, childhood trauma, narcisstic family, neglect, societal, workplace bullying etc… It blurs your brain, makes you feel lost and it becomes your comfort zone. You don't know where your guilt begins and where the abuse imposed upon you starts. It's hell and there's so much of it in the world, it's sickening. Some become so lost, they become abusers themselves. At least he had supporting parents. Mine were abusive and when I was sexually harassed in my workplace, they had nothing against it as long as it served them.

  9. I watched it all in one sitting. I am speechless, and horrified. If Richard ever reads this, I want him to know that he’s exceptional. What a brave, talented soul!

  10. WHAT THE FK DID I JSUT WATCH WHAT THE FK IT MADE ME WATCH 7 EPISODE STRAIGHT THE FACT THAT THIS IS TRUE STORY MADE ME ENTERTAIN IT MADDE ME FKING PARANOID WATCHING IT ITS SO CREEPY SO DARK GOSHHHHHH…
