so I tried it and got ran over by an invisible car that was cool, spent like 20 minutes looting the house I was in too lol, then next life I didn't bother looting and just starting running around the map… got shot by another ghost but survived and sprinted (after being shot I could still sprint full speed lol) a few buildings over and found a car someone had parked outside while they went in somewhere to loot… they left the door unlocked so I stole it and drove off…. reached the end of the map… ran outta gas… sat there a while… ran back to where I saw a winnebago and it had a full tank so I drove around in that for a while… then I quit xD

needs a hilarious amount of work but I'm still glad someone's at least TRYING! so sick of basic ass 3d games like state of decay! I don't care how good at 2d game is I'm not playing 2d games in 2024!

I'm so sick of top down view games it's 2024 I have a powerful pc I don't need the limitations games from the 80's had to have, it's time 3d games get the love they deserve! someone else mentioned state of decay and how it woulda been better with zomboid's details and I agree, but instead like every other 3d game it's just an empty field of sadness… downloading this game now!!!!!!!!!!! why are pc's and consoles getting more and more powerful but all the details get put into stupid 2d games?! it's time to stop!

This game looks sick! I do hope they put some effort into the visuals to make the lighting and such better. as it is now the universal lighting makes everything look pretty flat.

Mechanics wise i am in awe at the loot depth and mechanics they have thought of already and implemented. This is shockingly impressive.

Combat wise: They need some more time making combat feel more weighty. It can be hard visually to tell when your melee attack has hit properly. Also there is no reason why a blatant headshot with a 9mm or 45 round should not drop a zombie. having to take 2 shots to the dome essentially makes the beretta on par or worse than a bat (because of the noise factor). I hope they address this.

The vehicle dynamics look mind blowingly amazing. the whole box truck living idea is so incredible on its own it almost warrants a purchase just for that. I really am excited about this.

Can you not aim down the sights?

Night of the living dead is pretty good, Its romero, If you dont like golden age cinema you wont like it.

I already tried this game. It feels like it has no soul. And the place fells like there never were anyone living here. It feels dead, assets are bland. It's not ugly, not beautiful. But I think this is still a good game, with lot of things to try. But definitely, even if it was my dream to project zomboid in fps, I will continue to play PZ or dayz. But I forget this is a free game and a very beautiful present we have here from developpers

Project zomboid is super carried by its modding community, if the modding community wasn't so great nobody would touch the base game, the base game is clunky, unintuitive, grindy, and has a very unpleasant UI.

So it just seems like PZ in a 3D environment.

This is the kind of game that gets 75 minutes of playtime on your Steam list, and gets uninstalled and never played again.

I like that its a little more filled and not as boring and empty like day z, and also that stuff is more logical arranged

why does this feel like dead matter's assets?

The biggest killer of PZ is its godsammn isometric view,, if only they went for a 3D top down or something like Valheim with relatively simple graphics
