Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 came out today, so what do the reviews look like?
We don’t have an official Metacritic score, but we do have some reviews coming in for the campaign! Websites like IGN, Metro, and Game8 are all praising the game, and it currently has a 73% on Steam!
After the disaster that was Modern Warfare III, Activision really needed a win with the Call of Duty franchise, especially with them recently being bought out by Microsoft. The stakes are high since this is the first Call of Duty game to launch day one on Xbox Game Pass, which has been known to affect game sales.
Treyarch has a pretty good track record, and really anything with Black Ops in the title is guaranteed to sell a ton of copies, but I was still worried after the last game. I’m glad to see that Treyarch has been cooking up some good stuff since the release of Black Ops Cold War! Doesn’t surprise me. Black ops usually has good campaigns. Especially Cold War more recently
Needing a second Xbox live account to play split screen is ridiculous tho
