It is not invalid to compare two GPUs using all the features available to each one. So FG vs MFG is still a valid comparison.

@danielowentech You should do another video where you compare the last generations of Nvidia GPUs in terms of cores so that people can see why the prices don't appear to be that bad for the RTX 50 series when they actually are. The whole lineup below the 5090 has been cut down , so they are essentially selling lower tier cards as higher tier. It's the continuation of Nvidia's strategy of rebadging cards in order to fool people into thinking they are getting a good deal.

In games without RT nor Dlss probably it will have a 20% over 4070.

Personally I love the frame gen. 95% of gamers dont care about the issues or even notice them.

based on their graph it looks similar to what happened between series 30 and 40, 30% gain on same model with 5080 that will outperforms 4090 by a rough 15%, that is not bad imho, but is not 2x 🙂

they will not probably implement multi frame gen on series 40 for marketing reasons as there are no technical reasons, it will stay an exclusive 50 feature until someone hack it and let it work for series 40 too, else they can't claim 2x performance gain.

For those pixel peepers, could someone help me understand why the "fake frames" seem to be such a big deal? I don't know if I'll be able to tell the difference. So what are the biggest arguments against them?

I liked the part when jensen said people who bought the 4090 made one of the best investments in their lifes and everyone started laughing. For a split second you could see that he was actually shocked by this. Im pretty sure he thinks 2000$ for a gpu is a really good price. I think rich people like him are totally not aware of everything getting more expensive and that more and more people are struggeling with paying their normal bills. But sure, if you make 6figures+ a year its fine. But most people making 6 figures+ / month dont even have time for gaming. Nvidia is forgetting about their original customer group. Simply people which can not afford a 700 – 2k gpu every year. sad

Spec of RTX 4070 is nearly the same as 5070 besides AI cores and GDDR7 (only 12GB VRAM for Multi FG ) . I can't wait card tests, without frame gen. It will be fun hahaha…

No 5070 will match 4090 performance, like EVER!!! Sceap those fake frames per second and AI beautification of upconverting quality – those are all software gimmicks and nothing else!!!

None of this affects me because I will never buy another NVidia GPU

5090: costs as much as a pc, prebuilt….

So basically the raw performance needle is barely moved with this gen from Nvidia (5080 probably trade blows or is slightly weaker than 4090) and definitely not with AMD since their GPU's are not stronger than XTX. Guess better performance will be had right before the next consoles generation. In other words if you bought a mid to upper range 16gb GPU of the last two gens you can probably/definitely skip this gen unless you always want the latest software tools(gimmicks).
