I'd be really hyped about this if I didn't know what they did to Mick Gordon over the soundtracks for previous Doom titles. They rode roughshod over talent that worked on their releases. I'd argue that this title is even now still leaning on Mick's work because the trailer even has 'that' sound. Hard pass for me!

So the developers heard about the Doom Scrolls fan fiction and one upped it. I love it.

Doom 2016 was great but Doom Eternal was one of the blandest and most boring games I’ve played in a long time.
