if you ever read this, here in Italy a certain editor group was not receiving review copies from PS1 games and possibly from other outlets, because they were not so aligned with your average official and overpriced playstation magazine scores, so, after a couple of not so positive reviews, they lost sponsorship from everyone. Nevertheless they manage to stay afloat from 1998ish to 2005 and they definitely close down around 2013, I think. Right now old editors and reviewers manage to resurrect their old magazine, problem it's just too overpriced, but at least they still speak and review the truth, doubt they will last as longer as their previous venture but, good luck to them. Another magazine outlet, closed around 1999 or so, think it was Zzap and the reason was the same, no constructive negativism™ allowed.

This should put it into perspective of how bad Bioware is doing…for EVERYONE. The combat system that is "enjoyable" is a watered down version of Anthems combat……this game is DBA(Dead Before Arrival).

People need to be aware that western countries are becoming a minor market for publishers. China and India are already 3Billion people, what matters is what THEY like, if you want to make profit.

6:00 That's literally how Hollywood works and they don't even hide it. Producers have private screening events for reviewers/critics that often include luxury dinners, expensive gifts, intimate access to rub elbows with major industry players, etc. What's sad is that everyone has to do it now. Its just expected otherwise your movie is purely running on word of mouth and low-budget good-faith reviewers. Gaming reviews don't have nearly that much power, and likely never will due to the medium, but nevertheless you can usually tell a shill when you see one.

Last dragon age I played was the demo for DA2. That game was such a huge downgrade compared to origins, and I've never looked at the series since.
Origins is still one of my favorite rpg systems to date.

One thing to note about SkillUp's coverage is that he (Ralph) wasn't the one who attended the preview event or wrote the positive video about it, that was his editor, Austin. So there was no "Bait & Switch", simply two people wilth different opinions, approaches, tastes, etc. working on the same channel.

Mr. Matty explained why his current review is critical and initial opinion from preview was optimistic – they showed them the best parts of the story and decisions and now as he played the whole game, he found out that they spoiled him like 2/3 to 3/4 of story and the rest is just utterly bad. Even though those few hours from previews were fine, they are a small part of the whole game.

I've cancelled my pre-order on Steam a day before the launch day because I saw a lot of bad reviews, plus I HATE WOKE IDIOT'S, and the game was made by those kinds of idiot's. They completely destroyed the game that was beloved by millions, including me.
