Mario & Luigi Brothership Reviews Are MIXED…

5/10 should have named it Mario and Luigi Brothersh$t

To me they deserve more reviews points like 90-100%

I love your take on this game. New subscriber here. I also reviewed Brothership and gave it a good score on Twinfinite. I have no idea what mindset the IGN reviewer was in playing the game, strange nitpicks.

IGN in general has always been biased towards other games. So why act like it's such a shock to you? That's how they've always rolled.

It's like Genwunner nostalgia all over again from the Pokemon series and focused on Super Mario RPG remakes instead.

Honestly, there good reviews and bad reviews to some or most people.
Because of the Gameplay, Battle Mechanics, Gimmicks, Overworld, Story, etc.

This game would be overall be enjoyable but it's not too great but not bad.
Once this game releases, most people would enjoy the villains real goal and Bowser's cooperation against the Extension Corps once again and bosses are kinda challenging even against Bowser but also enjoyable even for Luigi Logic Mechanics too.
The characters are really memorable too and I like Connie and Snoutlet too. They deserved a huge role as side characters. The artstyle and graphics are decent and the battle system is AMAZING.

What's holds it back were how Luigi isn't controllable instead as an NPC ally but he can be helpful and there's no L for Luigi. Bowser has a new form yet again but not as a Final Boss, and the Bonus Points fails to return after Level Ups but at least the Level Rankings' back, even the Framerate drops while playing on the Nintendo Switch TV.

7.8/10 The game is overall good but not that great enough, it's close from being great but I highly recommend playing it on the Hand-held devices. It will be the 3rd best of the series in my opinion.

It's IGN, I don't know how they still stay credible but their past reviews seem to no be about the actual games anymore.

im pre sure there is version of the early batch of switches that are more suseptible to performance issues my buddies is like that and we both have version 1 switches. that or it deteriorates over time whereas other consoles are completely fine.

I only suffer small frame drop on some skills quick time event messing me up but it's rare

Dude places like IGN are trash asf they gave Dragon Age Transguard I mean Vanguard a higher score than Mario & Luigi is insane. I got the leaked copy of Mario & Luigi Brothership and haven't stopped playing it also brought DA Vanguard I refunded it in under 2 hours.

The game looks fun, and isn't infested with the bland character spam (toad/bowser baddies) and return to form. Im getting it

IGN seems to struggle with utilizing their limited intelligence.

Im not sure what to think at all. Ive played every other mario and luigi game and enjoyed them, but even when i played it for a little bit i still dont know how to feel

I think critic scores lack credibility since none of them payed for it.

I think a 7/10 is probably fair for this game, and to be expected as well. I'm not seeing 9/10 being true, and I definitely not seeing 5/10 being true.

So far, this game looks pretty good. It won't beat Superstar Saga or Bowser's Inside Story IMO. But definitely in the top 3 with them for sure.
