People are so ignorant when it comes to running a business. Your total profit is end the most important thing in running a successful business. When you have so many seperate little businesses under your umbrella like MS you have to make at least a $1 profit off of every single employee that works for you. Meaning their work should pay for their salary plus any amount of money or your developer group could crumble into a financial situaton like Bungie has been seeing. I hate the concept of the stock market but company officers are employees as well that happen to be in charge of several smaller businesses. You cannot treat this as one company.

PlayStation sales plummeted last gen in Japan. Japan is a Nintendo country and not a PlayStation one. Been like that since switch came out. That’s on top of even before that Sony has treated japan like a stepchild in all of its products for decades. I remember when the complaint was Sony made cheap products for its domestic market and the rest of the world got better quality made products.

Astro Bot is probably a good game but it's not going to make up for Concord or the upcoming debacle of the PS5 Pro. Sony is losing big money with those 2 failures 😅

Xbox does have marketing they tell you games are coming and then delay them to keep you in gamepass and they create useless tiers to push you into Ultimate😂 Whether it's Sony or Microsoft both companies main goal is to take your money. I have a series X, S and PS5 (The S is for my streaming OK!) and I loved the Astro playroom but I can't bring myself to buy the new Astros even though it is supposed to be amazing. Oddly the reason I'm just not that excited is that it's the gaming press saying it's great and yet everyone else, who I will admit are largely agreeing, haven't actually played it either but are "sure" it's an amazing game because….reasons.
