happily surprised to see that it looks so much like the original trilogy

So maybe it's just me, but the Metroids behind Sylux resemble that of the Mochtroids from Meridia in Super Metroid with the single "core" in the center instead of the normal triple "cored" Metroids present in every other game. Pretty cool how they continue continuity details like that instead of forgetting, I guess Retro really was born to do this.

People say we didn't get a gta since 2013 but the last metroid prime was in 2007!

They should re release metroid prime 2 and 3 on switch

I like the Prime series but I would prefer playing any Metroid game in 2D.
Metroid Dread is one of my all time favorite Metroid games along with Super Metroid

I honestly dont understand Nintendo. Their games catalog is filled with amazing games yet, they purposely wait nearly a decade before releasing another entry. Prime series is amazing and i dont gwt why it took soo long to give the fans a game. Its not a money issue, not a staff issue, its not a demand issue.

As a long time Metroid fan I am certainly excited for this to come out, and I'll definitely be playing it. That being said, I'm not too impressed with what appears to be a more minimalist reduction to the overall look of the game. They did the same thing with Breath of the Wild and it was sort of a let down, TotK was great though cause they packed it with much more content. I just hope they don't dive headfirst into artistic minimalism like they did with zelda
