It leads to community and devs argueing about the final goal and losing sight of it.
it leads to distractions.
It leads to chronically incomplete projects that go for years never claiming to be done.
Most early access games release at 50%-75% completion and never actually finalized a release.
Early access is a broken model, release your game, then polish new ideas and release it as a DLC or update.
