This doesn't exactly excite me 🤷‍♂️
I mean, the previous open world was an actual open world.

This one is just a single expanded city 🤷‍♂️ given the trailers, I would argue this one takes place in the future, rather than the past, like the previous Legends game.

Being completely honest though;

I'm still waitinf for a game that focuses on the Ultra Beast and creates it's own storyline; why not a trilogy?

Think about it the future correlating with the past and by the future they relocated lumiose city to be the 1st Civilization in space

But also in the 3d background it showed that the city was present while the horizon was dark and a bright light beaming further

This reminds me of the dark side of the moon and the sun beaming in the distance.
