I still have my PSP 3000, it better be backwards compatible with PSP UMD games.

If they would make exclusive games specially for this next gen psp that would be amazing

I think the psp2 should have its own games

PSP Vita 2 has to play PS5 games natively

The only selling point of this handheld is if it can PS titles, exclusive or not.

I would rather them make a handheld that has nothing to do with the console. No backwards compatibility with the PS5 or PS4. Just make it its own dedicated handheld with its own games. That would be lit. Because if they force it to have backwards compatibility they're just going to do what they did with the Vita and not make anything for it.

Killer hardware horrible software support. Sony needs to fix that

the portal is a nice device…but it must run ps4 and 5 standalone ,,,then its perfect… the diplay size is absolut nice not to big and not to small…

switch is the ultimate champion in this segment but if new psp can run native ps4 ,ps3 and ps5 at 1080 p with mid settings in an oled display, its a instant buy tbh

or they can even make specfic games for psp just like old days

It would be perfect for me of getting my own house. handheld Pc, Switch, PSP Xbox would be lit. To be fair it will save energy bill.

They should. Why?
-Their competitor (Xbox) gave up and collaborated with PC beat the console gaming

-most consoles exclusive game moving to PC slowly

-PC gaming are more superior

-And Consoles (Playstation) aren’t feel that special cz they can be jailbreak now days

-Sony Playstation consoles seems dying

If you can play console game on PC soon why bother buy the playstation or any consoles, I mean you can play god of war on PC its ridiculous yet killing the vibes like as soon the exclusive drops on PC people start to compare the specs, the smoothest FPS, the graphics, etc you name it and guess what people gonna move to PC eventually. Xbox got beated by competition and drag playstation along with it, console are not fun anymore like it was before. I’ve play Ps2, Ps3, owned Xbox360, PSP and PS4. The only option that i hoped since the PS4 till now is the new PSP, idc they bring up ps6 or whatever it personally doesn’t hyped like before the only thing caught my attention is PSP that’s the way

If it launches anywhere around 2027 it needs at a minimum to run 1080p ps5 games at 60-120fps and hopefully even at 2k at 60fps, and it needs a web browser and hopefully somekind of community support like for voice chat, groups etc or native discord support would be nice..

Hear me out what if they make something that can run ps 1 2 3 and 4 games natively and for ps4 you can just transfer your saves but for the ps3 you can put your saves on a usb so what if Sony makes a program so you can send them your files and they will put it onto your account

its pathetic that it even took them so long to do it. the real geniuses like the people who made the ps2 must have gotten fired and replace with some silly clowns who couldnt make a calculator
