most triple a studios have paid reviewers for years for good reviews thats why its hard to believe streamers/reviews i usually wait to see over all reviews before buying. This isn't new. But ubisoft seems like they went above and beyond this time because they want people's money.

The Youtuber Juicehead readily admitted he got all this stuff and I noticed during his Fallout TV show pre-coverage he got flown out with a bunch of Fallout people to view the show privately. Companies now know Youtubers live and die on these things and won't give negative opinions (as you say) or even unbias, honest opinions, because they will fear being blacklisted as many have in the past. Juicehead's video felt lukewarm at best as he said it was basically "fine" for his taste, but he did seem to make a point of only bringing up what he personally felt was wrong or bad and that those things wouldn't neccessarily influence how others play. I honestly plan to either pirate this game or just get it via a pass.

I never buy any game within first year of release unless its something I super want and only been one of those games in the last few years. The rest I buy after +1 year past and prices dropped at earliest, the major bugs been patched, a decent amount of reviews come in and if possible use one of the steam sales for even cheaper. Got so many games I bought of sales and havent played yet that there is no reason to buy any thing new for the top skin customer prices nowdays.

Everything you point out up front are silly things to complain about because the company's decisions are the same as 9 out of 10 companies for the last twenty years. This is all normal industry practices and they're not even super predatory like modern FPS and sports titles. People are only calling it out because they want SW gaming to continue to have controversy. Nothing sells better on the internet than controversy, but especially SW controversy. And LegacyKilla, all someone has to do is click on your recent videos page to see that you spend the VAST MAJORITY of your time making angry rant videos that are intended to stoke controversy. You're profiting off of anger to the point that people should be as worried about you as they are about people juicing their preview thoughts.

i payd below 30 bucks for sons of the forrest, it gave med over 600 gaming hours. Thats bang for the buck. Disney killed star wars, so, iam not gonna entertain the idea of enjoying anything star wars. Its a dead franchise to me.

The "takedowns" of enemies we've seen from that game so far is 100% the worst ive seen ever.

Well, this is what happens when the company must bring bigger and bigger profits every time it releases its product. Short term gains instead of long term goals, the company run by investors, not creators and artists. The end result will always be a pile of stinky poo if the only thing they care about is profit and not a polished product.

Yees everybody is buttering up media, websites, influencers. And only problem is Ubisoft. REALLY? God forbid you tell something bad about FromSoftver or Hideo Kojima. If get on Miyazakis bad side, what will influencers do. Elden Ring is best example. Big open world just filled with tough enemys, bad outdated graphics, still nobody can explain me a story plot, bad Pc port. But nooo best game ever. That is why i say that influencers are bad for gaming. They will not talk shit about games that generates views and period.
