  1. Why do they say experience an adventure with ND-5? He literally does nothing but sit in your ship and occasionally say some lines as you go around. What a fucking waste. I wanted a droid by my side and help blast things with me. Nah, Ubisoft couldnt be bothered.
I got the game free with my GPU and I still feel ripped off.

  2. I think it's clear that the game wasn't finished at launch and this patch edges it closer to what it was meant to be.
Hope the devs arent having to crunch on this to save face for those who pushed it out the door prematurely.

I played it at launch and two of the biggest bug bears of mine are being dealt with (heavy weapon carrying up ladders and insta stealth fails) so I'm happy with the direction of the game.

  3. Dropping weapon pickups was an absurd decision, I am glad to see it fixed!!! Thank you! Also, whoever complained about the stealth being too hard must not play stealth games much. My complaint was that the stealth was too easy 😂. Oh well, still fun. But now it's so easy I can literally just walk up and punch every trooper in the entire base right in the head with no effort.

  4. "We're excited to bring you our next title update" = "We released a half-finished product. So sorry! (;P)"

"Player choice has always been important to us," which is why we removed the original character creator concept and shoehorned you into playing this unlikable lady.

  5. Love it but that Lando bit was so unnecessary, would have been more fun to find that out myself.

  6. So they basically did nothing of high importance. Just fixed things that should have been there in the first place.

  7. I don’t mind iterative updates. A game is a piece of software and all software, game or not, gets iterated upon. However, what I am not ok with are soulless games that are rushed by greedy corporations.

  8. Doesnt't matter. The ENTIRE stealth gameplay is punching Stormtroopers in the head

  9. I'm going to keep saying this as it seems to only get more and more prevalent as we move forward in this gaming industry.

Don't like this type of behavior?

    STOP. BUYING. THESE. GAMES.

You people have no one but yourselves to blame. Stop rewarding this behavior with your money and it will go away. It's that simple.

  10. I love the game! For quality, you pay. For complex new updatable games, you know not everything will be 100% perfect upon release. There will always be things that can be fixed further. The age of CD-ROMs with unfixable bugs and glitches is dead and gone. Get used to it.

  11. Most gamers are men. Make the female protagonist appealing. Easy, profitable change.

  12. Really wanna play the dlc but have started from scratch to enjoy all the changes. Just back from renpali station and loving how it feels now. Congrats to the teams that worked on this.

  13. So what you’re saying is:
“We released an incomplete game that we didn’t playtest and now there’s pressure to deliver on our promises.”
But at least it’s free, right?

  14. Another predictable fuckup from Ubisoft. For god fuckin sakes just make a finished or decent game.

  15. The game was great from the start, but really glad they are updating it for those that were on the fence.

  16. It's absolutely pathetic what the gaming industry has come to. Companies trying to get people hyped over a fucking update, seriously? Any game should be finished, fun and 100% functional since day one, and now after the damage is done they really think they can get away with it. Now, imagine if they waited just for a little longer to be able to launch a fully realized, polished game? Pretty sure this cashgrab wouldn't have flopped reviews the way it did, and it sure as hell would have been more of a commercial success. It's absolutely disgusting the decisions companies make these days in order to make a quick buck at the players' expense.

  17. The sad thing is, all they had to do was give it a small sale on steam, and all of a sudden a mediocre Ubisoft title is on the top sellers list. They shouldn't profit from a game like this, but unfortunately they likely will.

  18. I really enjoyed this game. The settlements were well done and felt straight out of star wars. It was great to explore Jabbas Palace and Mos Eisely. Will replay again once I can get a disc drive for my Pro
