The Switch has entered its twilight years, and has one incredible library of games, but which are the absolute best? We’ve narrowed it down to just 31, and not just because we love comments.

1:32 mis matched audio? 🤔
DRAGONQUEST!? ..
A solid list and there are alot more that could be added, and yes I love the Zelda games on the switch but the games that blew me away this generation of Nintendo and I still can't stop think about is Metroid Dread and Xenoblade Chronicles 3. My god did they offer two unforgettable experiences that I will never forget.
The least controversial and “safest” list ever filled with first party games. Kind of disappointing honestly.
Does it bother anyone else to see a video labeled 31 best switch games, when over half of them were ports? Why not do ALL "Switch Games"? There were so many truly great ones that lost a spot due to games like Stardew Valley… I can play that on my phone…
0/10 list no gimmick 2
Eternal Darkness in the background… One of my all time favorites!!!
Including ports like The Witcher 3 is kind of making this list feel like a trap.
The Nintendo Switch is famous for its exclusives, and yet here we are.
No Bayonetta?
They should take the Dread-Enigne and do a remake of snes's Super Metroid.
Good list and even better with the dulcet tones of Alex!
I would add Mario rabbids kingdom battle and/or sparks of hope they’re so undertated
This list was made for a 4 year old
TOTK was disappointing because of the structure, empty sky and subterranean zone which failed to deliver on promises, and the story was ass. The gameplay isn't taken to full fruition, and the shrines are barebone and disappointing.
It's not that it's not good, it's that it's not as good as the first one while being overly complex and ambitious.
Mario maker 2???
I'd include Bayonetta (2 or 3) and Astral Chain on this list
Fire Emblem: Three Houses and Dragon Quest XI should def be on here!! Especially over Super Mario RPG, which was honestly boring imo. But good list overall
Sup lovely peeps
I think that you accidentally forgot about Kingdom Come: Deliverance
Great list.
But I would at least add one PlatinumGames game like Bayonetta 3 or Astral Chain because it runs too well for the Switch. They are incredible first parties and don't receive much love.
But thanks for XC3 ^^
to skip my complaining and disagreements of the list, ill just say, thanks! 🙂 theres a couple games here ive been meaning to play, and ill get a couple that you listed here 😀 cheers!
Sorry, Metroid looks like s PS3 game and The Witcher 3 on The Switch is a joke.
Imagine selling 7 years old mario game for 60$, when you can get multiple AAA titles on every steam sale for that price. I have switch, but never gonna buy their games in this case, so basically it’s hacked version or nothing.
Feels crazy that you made a great list but missed something many I'd have thought were shoe-ins.
Fire Emblem: Three Houses
Luigis Mansion 3
Astral Chain
Octopath Traveler 1&2
Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze
Links Awakening
Dark Souls: Remastered
I'd actually put Ring Fit Adventure on there as well, they managed to make a fitness game that was both real exercise and fun.
Lot of great games in that list but many of them too hard — I like an easier, chill experience. That said I would've included:
Immortals Fenyx Rising, Tinkykin, and Starlink: Battle for Atlas.
How many times can one place "arguably" in the course of a 26 minutes video ? A lot. A LOT
Unicorn overlord is a great game thst just missed this list imo

No Fire Emblem, but we put the blurry Witcher 3 in? Sure, if it was the full version of Witcher 3 running and looking great, then it would deserve a spot, but there are so many other games that deserve that spot more, including other, better ports.
Xenoblade2, fire emblem 3h,astral chain??
No DQ11, Fire Emblem, or Kirby is pretty wild to me. No hate on your list though
Fire Emblem Engage
Triangle Strategy
Octopath Traveler
Astral Chain
I feel like games that debuted before The Switch's generation shouldn't count, but it's your list.
It was a nice surprise to see Cuphead so highly regarded.
Really hope with the new switch they come out with achievements, that’s the main thing stopping me from completing as many games as I’d like
RIP FE3H fans
One of my favorite artwork would be from Cuphead…sad, that it’s just too hard .
Bayonetta 2
Breath of the Wild
DKC Tropical Freeze
Hollow Knight
Mario Kart 8
Pokémon Sword/Shield
Super Mario 3D World + B-F
Windjammers
Some of those were Wii U games first. One of them is even older than that. They are all ace.
Yet to play Ni no kuni and DQ11.
