Interesting that Dawn of sorrow is your favorite. I was always the opposite, it’s my least favorite (although still great game). I thought the story was just weak, especially after Aria. Having soul levels and needing souls to upgrade weapons just makes the entire game a grind fest.
Bought digitally and pre-ordered the LRG physical editions for both the Switch and Playstation. Castlevania Order of Ecclesia is my favorite Castlevania game and I regretted selling it when I sold my handheld.
I have all the US cartridges released for NDS and I have a new 3DS XL to play them. Now with the Limited Run Games Collector's release, which is quite expensive, I'm a bit vacillent as to buy it or not. What they included in the box set is quite appealing.
Haven't bought it yet, but defiantly through it in my wishlist as soon as I found out about it. My only complaint is it's not available on PS4 (no, I'm not surprised), so I can't have all the collections on a single system for now. Still extremely excited though. All three of these games are bangers.
Metroid and this game are legendary RGT. I just downloaded it now! I can’t wait for that 2nd Capcom Collection with Powerstone and Capcom Vs. SNK 2 on it!
I'm so thrilled about this compendium! So, I've only ever placed two Castlevanias from the GBA-through-DS era: Circle of the Moon, which I was obsessed with, and Portrait of Ruin which was also great. It's been surprising, in this era of Castlevania collections, to realise just how many handheld games there have been in the series, because there's been a bunch in these collections that I never knew existed! And those I did know about during the life cycle of their handhelds, I mostly wasn't able to get my hands on, because by the time I heard about them copies were already thin on the ground and beyond my price range. I feel like I've got a real treat waiting for me here, and I'm going to start with Order of Ecclesia because you've just enthused me right into it!
They should have made a priority mode with filters and autoswitch. It's still an amazing collection non the less and it sets the stage for future DS releases on Switch.
This great news is that it is possible to port DS games over to the other consoles. Which should stop some of the naysayers online that claimed it’s too hard or not possible. Now I hope other companies do the same with their IPs stuck on the DS. Do it.
I've never owned a DS and missed out on the experience of playing these games so I was thrilled to see this release. Another reason to love the Switch.
What's up man love the channel I have a indie game demo I'm promoting that you may be interested in reviewing the link is in my bio my game is called 2nd child. Give it a shot
As much as I hate to support LRG, I prefer to have my games physical when available.

wetting yourself a bit too much on this one.
Are there any display filter options to make the game look less pixelated?
All these games are fun , that being said sotn is my personal goat of this series!
What's ur opinion on the other 2 games…. Portrait of Ruin and Order of Eclesia… also what do you like and dislike about those games?
dawn of sorrow was one of my first games and.. well. it had an impact.
Guys Michru Yamane has a you tube channel and plays extende versions of the songs.
now lets see if someone can uncover any secret ending on order of ecclessia. giga demonic megido!!
I had two of these games on pc with auto complete stylus stuff. This is way better
Nintendo should port the ds zeldas.
Nah PC version is the best. I'm playing on my Syeam Deck right now. Also, I paid $22 on steam.
definitely going to preorder the collection Physically with limited run
What a collection. Now if only Konami would make a new 2D Castlevania game.

Super Castlevania IV was my first entry into the series. Yikes ! I feel ancient.
Haunted Castle is definitely not the precursor to Castlevania brother
Great games. Gonna have to grab this collection at some point.

These are my most favourite castlevania games. So glad they're on the switch now.
