I hated Ni No Kuni II because the battle system changed from the first one. It's like, you just got used to the original system, then you play the sequel and it's completely different!

Narrative: "CrossCode offers Zelda like dungeon puzzles"
Actual gameplay: Zelda puzzles on crack, amphetamine and angel dust all rolled into one and snorted out of a hooker's belly button, and this is just ONE PUZZLE. Multiply by 1000.

I can never bring myself to play beyond the tutorial of CrossCode; it's just such a drawn out and boring tutorial that by the time it's over and the actual GAME starts, I just don't care anymore and quit.
