I don't think frame generation is even worth the extra latency and visual artifacts when the graphics solution doesn't have more memory than their competition. Because when that meagre amount of memory is sufficient for the graphics solution, it is already producing frames fast and smooth enough. So Nvidia is following an anti-consumer path once again here.

Don’t these tech companies understand what Apple has always known? (Except the jobsless era in early 90’s) Customers HATE too many choices, whether on a menu or anything else requiring research. Less options with exponential pricing gets people to choose quicker and feel better about their decision. Also, do the fountain drink/popcorn bucket trick, you have a small for $6 a medium for $9 and a mega size for $10. People will tend to choose middle, but then see the small difference to the large and give-in.

Not doubting that DLSS and RT cores are better this gen, but the RTX 5070 with 12GB of RAM and 672GB/s bandwidth is nowhere near the 4090 (24GB and 10008GB/s). I can't believe they're making that ground up with compute units. No way this is gonna beat a 4090 outside of DLSS-enabled gameplay. NVIDIA, so this is misleading at BEST. What I don't get is why NVIDIA would even bother to lie like this. They're the dominant player in the space, and it's not like we're gonna see a mass adoption of AMD or Intel anytime soon.

A 4070 has like 4880 cuda cores while the 5070 has like 5150 cuda cores. Next gen vram from ggdr6 to 7 but same amount of vram (12).
Same wattage. It's literally the same all over again with the 3060 and 4060. Just let scalpers buy it and let it dust. If anything just wait for the 4070 sales and look for those.

I swear people are going to see 9070 and then see 5070 or even 5090 and just think bigger number better graphics card and go with the 9000 series stuff by AMD instead
