If I was designing this console I would make it look more like a Dreamcast with a cartridge reader up top. Hopefully Sega will help them with this product
All the licensed music, arcade licensed games not from Sega, any media cross – over games and other games with odd hardware requirements such as Seaman with it's mic or Sega Bass Fishing with it's rod are not likely to be ported.
I would love to see a clone system like the retro trio with 8 bit nes, 8 sega master system, and either 16 bit snes or genesis but all there ever is nes, snes, genesis. the master system has a lot of great games too. my ideal clone system would be nes, master system, game gear or game boy. but that is just me.
I was a Nintendo kid BUT Sega had a bunch of bangers back then vant lie i had both sega and snes n nes. I used buy every console ok saved $ constantly but now im older i realize i didn't ever jave a ton of games lol couldn't aford them we traded games around. It was hard save up 4 consoles but we could not afford games it was get one on birthday n cpl xmas maybe one random throughout year IF your lucky and its cheap used lol. But after few years it added up by time next cons6vame out i usually had like 12 games to trade in but compared to today lol thats nothing lol … But we PLAYED games back then over n over no problem. Plus rented games was life saver
I don't think people realise how visually groundbreaking games like "soulcalibur" or "Sonic Adventure 2" were in 2000 when most people were playing Mario 64 and Crash Bandicoot.
thought sega learned not to compete with playstation and nintendo but looks like they want to give it another shot as xbox is now considered the new sega
SEGA!
Hope it does come out so I can play all my SEGA again
That looks like a updated SEGA master system
So all it does is play old Sega games? Sounds like a glorified emulator machine.
SEGAaaaaa~🎵
The lack of native 32X support is a huge red flag for me. & as you can tell from my logo I care lol
If sega trully make a new console.
Sega will broke the internet!
Nintendo won
If it’s too good to be true, it’s probably not going to happen.
Bring back Snatchers
If it ain’t got Jet Set Radio it ain’t sheeeeit
“More about functionality than practicality.”
That’s like saying,
“It’s more about aesthetics than how it looks.”

$400 to $450 for outdated system is crazy high

even if sega put this out themselves it would be a flop 😂 name woulda sounded cool tho 16 yrs ago

Anybody else heard of "SuperSEGA" and maybe even seen one in person in the past twenty years? I have.
They can’t call it super sega that’s a lawsuit waiting to happen
They will have to change the name sega will sue
Super Sega?!? After all that beefing in the 90's with the Super Nintendo that's the name they chose to go with?
This isn't a new system. It's an amalgamation of backwards compatibility. Thanks for the clickbait. Nothing like having my time wasted.
If the company's had the technology in the late 90's to make this consoles why is it so hard to do it now?

I would get one if it came preloaded with Snatcher as a middle finger to the people selling them for $1000.
It sega came out with a handheld which is where systems are going nowadays, I believe they would do well.
If emulation wasn't available I might of been interested…

Dreamcast was ahead of the curve, and really had a great lineup
Saturn was weak compared to Dreamcast n Genesis
Is SEGA still releasing their Sonic games on Steam?
Sega lost the console war for a reason, best thing they could do now is just develop games for Switch and PC and focus on making the games good.
