a current-day chapter of the 1996 blockbuster, Twister. Directed by Lee Isaac Chung, the Oscar® nominated writer-director of Minari, Twisters stars Golden Globe nominee Daisy Edgar-Jones (Where the Crawdads Sing, Normal People) and Glen Powell (Anyone But You, Top Gun: Maverick) as opposing forces who come together to try to predict, and possibly tame, the immense power of tornadoes.

  1. I remember the 1996 film was my favorite movie, despite me first seeing it in 2014, I watched it at least 20 times over every once in a while, now that this is coming out, I guess I can finally relive my favorite film but in present quality. Just wish my mother was here to watch it with me when it's free on my TV

Anyone else who loved the 1996?

  2. The sad thing is, everyone who is saying this movie is bad are the same people who are giving Deadpool and Wolverine 5 stars 😂 I hate sharing this world with Gen Z’ers

  3. Watched it last night in the UK. I now want a dodge ram and a cowboy hat 🤠 what a film!! 🎥

  4. I watched the movie first and just watched this, I hate it when trailers ruin movies.

  5. Why is it that a year ago I had never heard of Glen Powell and now I can't go a single day on the internet without seeing his face or hearing his name!?!? Who is he and where did he come from?? Why is he suddenly being shoved down our throats?!?!! I have never seen a movie with him but it seems like this past year he is basically in a new movie every week. Is he Hollywood's only leading man??

  6. So at the :24 second mark the 5,000lb car is getting tossed around like a rag doll but the 150lb humans are just able to run away and out of the tornado. Right.

  7. Absolutely loved it, would totally watch it again. I think it’s just as good as the original! More action fir sure. Like how they created a whole new story!

  8. Merry Christmas to those who do it, I hope it will be smoother and less arrogant in registering using the my in my bio

  9. i watched this last week and it is so good everyone sayd the reviews are bad but i love it

  10. Its just looks like a copy cat of the first one. Doesn't anyone have any creativity of their own anymore? how lazy can you get?

  11. I saw this in Ultra 4DX yesterday. That was literally like a rollercoaster!! When we got closer to the tornadoes, I thought I was gonna die lol

I purely wondered why the seat hasn't a safety bar lol

  12. possibly the worst tornado movie ever . just a bunch of clowns pretending to be actors , and get some new writers

  13. Just watched the movie! Very entertaining! I appreciated that the writer and director did not dwell on or push a message.

  14. Anyone who thinks this film is good and is surprised that many people don't like this film: I can only advise everyone to watch the original film from 1996. The story is much more exciting, much more authentic. The actors were significantly better. Computer animation isn't everything! Even the animations from 1996 are good.

  15. What a ride! Just got back from theatre and this is a great summer movie w drama, and action! Thoroughly enjoyed. Would've been cool if it connected to the first movie. Ah well. You cant tell from trailer but the main character is Daisy Edgar which is pretty cool. But yea, nothing beats original. The ending in the original is epic.

  16. I just finished the movie. It's one of the best movies I've seen in a while.

  17. "You don't face your fears, you ride them."
If you feel it, chase it."
I had so much fun watching this movie in 4DX, July 21st. I love the chemistry between Glenn and Daisy's characters. I love the fact that the film showed the human side of when a natural disaster happens, for example donating, showing compassion and having empathy and sympathy.

  18. The original caused me to have constant tornado nightmares as a kid. Still have them every once in a while and I blame that damn movie 🤦‍♀️

  19. The original movie traumatised me as a child…cannot wait to experience that all over again as an adult 😂

  20. I remember when i first watched this. I was at my uncles house on holiday in france. I was a kid, it gave me nightmares and he confirmed me. Times are different now but those were good days.
