Has anyone noticed the advertising is channeling sucide squad so bad. Lettering in the trailer states worst planet ever same italics as SQ worst heros ever… same colour pallette also. Think lessons would have been learnt

Every single character looks miscast.

Either too old, too young (Kevin Hart does not pull off the veteran solder look). Jack Black is a far cry from Claptrap's iconic voice. And I don't even know how you would Tiny Tina right irl without it being really grating.

I've met Eli Roth. He's cool… He directed some scenes I was in… in 2001 Maniacs… but man, this is rough.

I never played borderlands , even I could tell this movie would have been better off animated or a series

One young star, solid supporting younger cast, even a b storyline, would've done amazing

inspired by many franchises, stories, but not the source material. This is going to make Tank Girl a Wrath of Khan.

tbh bordelands is the last video game i would think would translate well to the big screen and also only bordelands 2 story is worth a while

I've played all the games, and now I've watched the film.
I thought it was good fun!
I'd say it was very faithful to the game and thankfully not pushing any political message.

I've seen it now unfortunately. It's unbelievably boring. I didn't care about anything past around the 20 minute mark and it kept going. Don't waste time, money or hope on this

While the movie does look fairly shit etc etc. You probably should accept the invite so you'll be invited in the future for hopefully better projects

As soon as I saw KH as Roland and Cate B as Lilith I turned it off and vowed the movie wouldn’t exist to me

This has probably killed any future PROPER borderlands movie to be made. What were they thinking? Unfortunately I don't think anyone was thinking when it was cast and written.
