Sounds like a skill issue

1. If you're a gamer with THAT expensive of a set-up (dedicated) and you're still looking at the shapes rather than memorizing the control schemes (which are exactly equal between consoles in location) then you've already lost your mind because your muscle memory is nacho cheese dip in an outhouse.

2. Triangle being a dominant shape like you said, has a point at the very top, signifying… you guessed it.. the top. An upwards arrow. If you can't discern which way is up, you don't deserve an opinion on shapes and placements.
