I mean its a good alternative if you want to play a modern cod-like game without playing cod but… honestly even the original modern warfare 3 from 2011 gunplay feels more modern than that of XDefiant. There is just something off. Not responsive enough and weird hit detection.

Before you get ripped to pieces by cheaters and day one sweat's this game is so frustrating way harder than CoD

Typical Ubisoft game, steal ideas and everything from better studios and incorporate it into your own game to make a mid game with no uniqueness at all, what a terrible company.

The game wasn't for me. got tired of getting hit around corners and dumping mags in people only to get hit markers while I get killed in what seemed like two shots. Snipers are annoying as hell too. Maybe they will fix those issues. Can't expect much from a free to play game

How is server down at launch a bad thing for the game? It only means it was more popular than ubisoft expected.

problem is ubi is into slow grinding and paywalls, now xd is ok, but a year two might be bad … this game matching is based of ping is good and. .. COD warzone matching is bad because algorithms used to its like if you purchase expensive skins, the matchmaking system gives you awesome team with high k/d dudes n dudettes and op for the junk team, to give impression the skins help you play better . . . or if you do well and have a good match, it gives crap team mates next time or nerfs your connection, plays to the gambling psychology by giving you losing streaks and then it puts / set up one fun game and it doesn't even take ping into account. prior to MW reboot, the matchmaking was simple algo based off ping and your k/d ratio

Why does it sound like you have a condescending tone throughout the whole video… it’s a FREE TO PLAY breath of fresh air from cod, and it is literally less then 3 months old. I get it it’s YOUR review but at the same time you have to be objective, in terms of the fans, and new people wanting to try new games. I’m sorry but I will never be watching your channel again all of your videos are garbage

This game finally brings a smooth/novel improvement without overdoing it to CoD styled games. Finally it’s not a call of duty re-skinned game

It's doing what CoD has failed to do for many years; pure, arcade-y shooter fun. I haven't played a CoD game that's this fun since probably MW 2019.

Harsher review than usual. I think when a game doesn't try to be over the top and fits a niche that the community misses, it should get more praise. In a world where the games industry has been going in a direction towards anti-consumerism, a reminder of what we fell in love with about games deserves more love.
